CONDOLENCE MESSAGE
On behalf of the Stakeholders, Board of Management, Staff, Students, Parents, and the entire Alumni Fraternity of Wajir High School, we join the people of Kenya, Africa, and the world in mourning the loss of a true statesman, a patriot, and a symbol of democratic resilience — Right Hon. Raila Amolo Odinga.
At a time when our beloved country stood at the brink of political turmoil and uncertainty, he stood tall — from the era of the late President Daniel arap Moi, through President Mwai Kibaki, President Uhuru Kenyatta, and most recently during the defining moments of this generation under President William Ruto. His voice, courage, and sacrifice helped shape Kenya’s democratic journey and inspired countless generations.
He embodied hope when the nation faced despair, defended justice when freedom was under siege, and carried the dream of a better Kenya not just for his supporters — but for all Kenyans.
We extend our deepest condolences to his beloved wife, children, extended family, the Luo community, and the entire Kenyan nation. Africa has lost a great son, a champion of liberation, and a beacon of democratic struggle.
