Orphaned boy Hassan Adan Keynan who hails from Al-Furqan integrated Primary school scores 397 marks becoming the Top 2019 KCPE Candidate in Wajir County.

Hassan Adan Keynan has entered the history books for being the best student in Wajir County with the highest marks in 2019 KCPE whose results were released this afternoon by Education CS Prof George Magoha. The top candidate in the whole country was Andy Michael Munyiri of Damacrest Academy, Thogoto, Kiambu County who scored 440 marks.

Al-furqan integrated Academy is one of the top private schools that has produced best candidates for a number of years in Wajir County. The school registered 27 candidates for the exams with the least scoring 311 marks.

In a phone interview with The School principal Mr Victor Owino Ochieng, said the boy was an orphan who was humble and hardworking. He said the boy was targeting 430 marks but managed to score 397 which credible. He said Hassan Adan Keynan dream school was to be admitted at starehe boys, and hoped it would be fulfilled.

Winning such marks coming from Wajir County which is regarded as hardship area, Hassan Adan Keynan is expected to join the top scorers countrywide in National Schools and his dreams of joining Starehe boys could come to pass.
