Governor Abdi visits, offers goodies to retired teachers during Eid-ul-Fitr

Wajir Governor Mohamed Abdi Mohamud today took time to visit the less fortunate members of the society to mark the end of Ramadhan.

Together with the First Lady Ms Kheira Omar, the Governor visited and spent time with the families of some retired teachers. The retired teachers were Governor’s colleagues during his teaching career.

The Governor whose profesion is a teacher had a special gesture in visiting his former colleagues who were his workmates during his teaching period.

The Governor served in different capacities in Education sector before he joined Politics. Most professionals in different sectors including politicians passed through his hands.

That is why the Governor decided to spent Eid Al fitr with retired teachers since some of them have health complications.

He gave them confort, reminded them past events during their young age in service and shared with them Eid goodies.

“During this Eid-ul-Fitr occasion let’s remember, visit and spend time with the less fortunate and the sick”, said Ambassador Mohamed Abdi Mohamud.

He wished Eid Mubarak to all Muslims around the world.
