The leader of the Majority party in the National Assembly Aden Duale visited USA where he met Somali citizens in the USA and those in the diaspora as well as those in Leadership in that country.
Those he met include Somali citizens in the USA, Somalis in the diaspora and other Somalis from horn of Africa. They welcomed him as they crowned hima as Somali leader from Kenya.
“It was honour to welcome the Hon. Aden Bare Duale to Arizona, we also appreciate Somali America United Council for taking the lead to put together amazing event to celebrate honourable Aden Duale visit and recognize his noticeable impact on the refugee communities”, the Somali Association of Arizona posted on its Facebook Page.
During the USA trip Duale visited many government officials and met for talks with some officials from different levels in the House of Representatives. The talks were centered on collaboration and partnership programmes.
The warm reception Duale received in the USA was a replica of a state visit which was portrayed by the Somalis in the diasporas who ushered him in different functions where he was the chief Guest.
The Somalis in the Diaspora acknowledged the important role the Leader of Majority Party in the National Assembly played in the Kenya governnent during the vote of thanks.
The Somali USA citizens and those in the Diaspora recognised one of Duale’s biggest achievement of helping the refugees of Somali decent settle in various camps in Kenya.
They appreciated how he has stood with refugees and played a pivotal role in their well being.
“Duale has played a big role in peace talks in the Somali Nation and he was advocating for Somalia to become a stable country”, they said in the dispatch.
